Visual Characteristics

• The natural golden lustre of Brazilian Cherry highlights its unique tonal qualities, which will deepen with age. Heartwood can range from a subtle salmon-red to orangey-brown, and is accentuated with brown and russet brown streaks. Its medium-to-coarse interlocking grain helps to create a floor of eye-catching beauty

• Brazilian Cherry matches well with other exotic species. It is extremely durable and hard-wearing, able to accentuate any high-traffic area in your home.

• Sound knots limited in size and quantity along with character marks are permitted.

• This grade is free of shake, rot, stain, and sticker shadow.

Visual Characteristics

• Ranging in color from light mahogany to a deeper red-brown hue, Brazilian Mahogany will darken and grow richer over time. It is straight-grained for the most part, with occasional interlocked ripple marks that produce a unique “fiddleback” figure.

• Its deep, rich color and natural toughness make Brazilian Mahogany an excellent flooring choice for high-traffic areas where a refined look is desired.

• Sound knots limited in size and quantity along with character marks are permitted.

• This grade is free of shake, rot, stain, and sticker shadow.


Visual Characteristics
• With an even blend of light to dark-brown heartwood and lighter-toned sapwood, Brazilian Walnut has a refined, rich color and a straight, slightly interlocking grain pattern.

• Its evenness of coloration and natural density make this an excellent flooring choice for high-traffic areas where a refined look is desired.

Visual Characteristics
• The consistent, even reddish hues and fine, uniform texture of Brazilian Paraju will slowly darken over time for a richly toned floor with a refined, elegant look.

• Straight-grained with occasional wavy highlights, this species is exceptionally durable, and can be used in any high-traffic area.

• A prestigious contemporary appearance with the naturalness of wood still evident through a low gloss finish.

• Truly Exotic with veins of dark brown striped throughout a medium brown base.

• Subtle closed grain. Expect all variations of pattern amongst pieces.

• Ages well to a medium dark brown subduing the variation.
