Characterized by deep, rich tones and naturally dense, these species are extremely durable and wear-resistant. Bonded to our five-ply core and protected with eight coats of ultra-violet cured polyurethane, enhanced with aluminum oxide, Architectural Exotics are well suited for high-traffic areas. Visual Characteristics

• The natural golden lustre of Brazilian Cherry highlights its unique tonal qualities. Heartwood can range from a subtle salmon-red to orangey-brown, and is accentuated with brown and russet brown streaks. Its medium-to-coarse interlocking grain helps to create a floor of eye-catching beauty

• Brazilian Cherry matches well with other exotic species. It is extremely durable and hard-wearing, able to accentuate any high-traffic area in your home.

• Sound knots limited in size and quantity along with character marks are permitted.

• This grade is free of shake, rot, stain and sticker shadow.
Visual Characteristics

• With a medium range of color variation between golden tan and darker orangey-brown, Architectural Collection Doussier will darken over time into a deep ochre tone.

• Doussier’s lighter sapwood contrasts nicely with its reddish-brown heartwood, which complements this species’ somewhat irregular, interlocked grain. A very dense hardwood, Doussier is quite durable, making it suitable for high-traffic areas.

• Sound knots limited in size and quantity along with character marks are permitted.

• This grade is free of shake, rot, stain and sticker shadow.
