Visual Characteristics
• With a medium range of color variation between golden tan and darker
orangey-brown, Architectural Collection Doussier will darken over time into a
deep ochre tone.
• Doussier’s lighter sapwood contrasts nicely with its reddish-brown
heartwood, which complements this species’ somewhat irregular, interlocked
grain. A very dense hardwood, Doussier is quite durable, making it suitable for
high-traffic areas.
